His academic work focuses on understanding the unique challenges and opportunities students face when navigating educational and career pathways in non-metropolitan areas. Prior to joining academia\, Ben served as Head of Faculty and Careers Advisor across Catholic and Independent schools in the Northern Territory\, ACT and NSW for 12 years.
