This workshop will guide educators through how they can use the Digital Atlas of Australia in their classroom. We will explore a variety of national datasets covering human and physical geography. This platform provides free access to trusted industry standard data. Educators will receive a classroom resource suitable for Stage 5 and senior Geography.
About the presenter:
Emily Robson is a passionate science communicator who loves to improve student and public awareness of geoscience through storytelling and finding the connection between people and the planet. Emily has a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) in Earth Science and Sustainability Studies from the Australian National University. She has experience delivering a range of science shows, workshops, and lectures to students from primary school to university. Emily is an Education Officer within the Education and Outreach team at Geoscience Australia.
