Content focus:
In this unit students identify and represent the location of the Q-Station using maps, spatial technologies and visual representations. Students use a range of geographical tools to explore the features of and activities occurring at the Q Station. In so doing, they develop an understanding about what makes the Q Station important as a place for different groups of people. Students learn about the importance of looking after the Q Station. Throughout the unit students are encouraged to design and develop their own representation of their learning to communicate their understanding about the Q Station.
